“We who cut mere stones must always be envisioning cathedrals.” – Quarry Worker’s Creed
Highland Rim Cohort 2025 Launch Event
October 25, 2025
Join us for a day of grit, skill, and brotherhood across the Highland Rim. The morning begins around the table with a hearty farmhouse breakfast for men, wives, and children—eggs, meats, sourdough waffles, homemade yogurt, and fresh fruit. From there, we move into the field for Heritage American Interval Training: quarrying, cutting, and stacking stone as craftsmen; lifting and throwing heavy weight; breaking stone; and honing accuracy on the clay range. Alongside the physical effort comes vision—mission briefings and regional leadership talks to set our course.
In the afternoon, we take to the outdoors with a hike and swim at Cummins Falls, one of Tennessee’s most iconic natural landmarks. The trek is strenuous and rugged, demanding strength and awareness, but rewarding with beauty and refreshment.
After rest and recovery, we gather for authentic Italian dinner at Ariola’s Deli, featuring real food without compromise—Italian beef and sausage combos served Chicago style. The night closes shoulder-to-shoulder in fellowship at RidgeRunner Cigar Lounge, where we’ll share ideas, stories, and vision late into the evening.
This launch event marks the beginning of a movement: men uniting with tools in hand, envisioning cathedrals even as we cut mere stones.
SE Chapter Launch Add-On: Lodging + Bonus
October 24–26, 2025
For those who want the full experience, the SE Chapter Add-On offers lodging and bonus sessions leading into the Highland Rim Cohort Launch. Guests will stay at Hideout Hotels, a modern cabin retreat with fire pits, hot tubs, sauna, cold plunge, outdoor kitchens, and courts for basketball and pickleball.
On Friday evening, we’ll train together at CrossFit Mayhem, the world-famous gym led by Rich Froning (Separate fee that has to be paid directly to Mayhem), then return to the cabins for a cookout and campfire under the stars. Local meats, grilled vegetables, and fellowship will fuel both body and spirit.
Saturday morning includes recovery time at the cabins before rolling directly into the Highland Rim Launch Event. Lodging is also provided for a second overnight, allowing men to recharge before joining us Sunday morning for Lord’s Day service (location to be announced in person). Checkout is Sunday around 10am.
This add-on is a rare opportunity to train, eat, and rest together in close quarters before stepping into the intensity and camaraderie of the launch event itself.
